Die-casting is a process in which molten metal is poured into the die-cavity and the product is cast. The Strength and related properties of the casting depends upon the method of Die-casting adopted. The various Die-Casting procedures adopted are

  Gravity die-casting
  High Pressure die-casting
  Low Pressure die-casting

In gravity die-casting, the molten metal is poured under gravity and the product cast, whereas in High/Low Pressure Die Castings the molten metal is injected under set pressure parameters to produce high quality thin sections usually of intricate shape, size and suitable for high mechanized mass production ensuring high dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

However, we specialize in High Pressure Diecasting process using 750 Ton Italpresse Cold Chamber Machines from Italy.

The Various steps in the manufacture of Aluminium high pressure die-cast components is shown below:

Raw materials-Ingots from inventory transported into the Shop floor.

Pressure Setting-CNC enabled settings of Pressure and related parameter depending on the end product.

Melting-Conversion of ingots into molten metal

Auto-ladle- Molten Aluminium alloy transported into the Cold Pressure Chamber

Diecasting-Production of Die-castings

Fettling- Removal of gates, runners, spures, risers, etc.

Inspection- Quality inspection to meet user requirements

Machining- Performing turning, drilling, milling, etc as needed

Testing -Conduct of hardness, tensile, leak tests etc as required
